End of the School Year

Students have been working hard finishing up last projects and studying for final exams.  Here's a window of what has been going on the past few weeks.

ConComm students finished up videos last week that they were asked by United Way to make.  Students researched the different ways that United Way helps our community and put together a two-minute video to try to help increase fundraising.  They turned out great!

Visual/Verbal students just completed a project on conceptual art.  Each group chose a current event to represent through art and created a written piece to explain the meaning it held.  Artwork was shown throughout the school to capture what it meant to others.

A uniform cookie recipe was given to groups in FoodChem with the exception of one ingredient being limited.  The group then had to convert the entire recipe to make the cookies turn out correctly.  Ask your FoodChem student how their cookies tasted!

The WorldBio class just finished up a couple things, including creating a bucket list that incorporated at least five geography related items and five biology related items.  Students also got the opportunity to do their freshmen pig dissection last week.

It’s been an amazing year, full of authentic projects and fun experiences.  We hope everyone has a fantastic summer and we look forward to having another great school when we come back!
