Geometry students are currently working on the properties of circles and what better way to learn about circles than creating your own crop circle?!

Students are brainstorming ideas and coming up with their own crop circle design, while following the guidelines that list what their circles must include.  Requirements involve including an inscribed polygon and at least four of the following properties of circles: tangent, secant, minor arc, major arc, semicircle, chord, inscribed angle, central angle, concentric circle, radius, diameter, or tangent circle.

We can’t wait to see the designs that our creative students think up!
